Ever since she entered the music scene, Lady Gaga has had the world going "gaga" over her and her music. With songs like "Just Dance," "Poker Face," and most recently "Edge of Glory," it is safe to say she has a prosperous career ahead of her. Her album, "Born This Way," and song of the same title, showcases her views on how gays are being mistreated. Aside from that, even someone who is straight can relate to the song, because it speaks about bullying, and dealing with self-esteem issues. As she states in the song, "I'm beautiful in my way, 'cause God makes no mistakes I'm on the right track baby I was born this way." This statement is could not be more true, as she is reminding us to love who we are, what we look like, don't worry about how others judge you, and to remember, that true beauty is one the inside, not always the outside.
Another favorite song off of the album is "Edge of Glory". I really loved this song, because the style she used was very different from what you see in many of the videos seen today,and hear in many songs. In the video, she puts a twist on a classic Madonna outfit, by adding some of her own style to it. This is a very fun video for any Gaga fan, even if you're not, after listening to her songs, you will be.
If you don't have the album, go to your local store, or download it on Itunes, it truly is a treat for ears, and it is something you won't regret for many years to come. Her songs are hits now, but they will soon become classics, that will be listed with other great artists such as Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, and Celine Dion, just to name a few.
